Poor husband

My poor husband has caught a cold and can not seem to get rid of it. It makes me sad to see him suffer with all the mucus congestion. He can not breath good at night even with all the medicine that he has taken. I pray that he will feel better soon. I want him healthy over the Christmas holidays.

Waiting for Christmas

The eldest son is so excited that Christmas is coming. The little one has not quite got it figured out yet since this will be his second one. He senses that something special is in the air. The parents are even excited this year. We haven't spent a lot of money like years before, but we are happy with the gifts that we are getting the kids. We also plan to open gifts at midnight this year. We are trying something different.

My husband told me last week that we’d have to be moving to a new place. I wasn’t really excited at first because I actually like it here but you know, now that things are moving forward with the new house in Atlanta I’m getting excited about doing something different for a change. I can’t wait to get all moved in and get Direct TV Atlanta and paint the walls and all the housey kind of stuff because really, at heart, I’m a true nester and I just want to make a great home for my family. I think there’s something about being a mom that makes you want to do this – make a house as perfect as you can – and that’s exactly the kind of drive I’ve got in my heart for mine. We’re going to make Atlanta work and I can just feel that it’s going to be a really nice place to live at the end of the day. We needed something different and not just the same old same old.

Extra Work

I work part-time and I am now in the market for another part-time job. Inflation is killing us. Food prices and gas is the two commodities that hurt the most. I have a few leads and plan to follow up on them tomorrow. Today after work, I have my annual check up with my doctor. I wonder if my husband knows that he will have to get the eldest from school. Since he made the appointment, I hope he already knows that information. I have to Thank my hubby because he remembers all these things and organizes us.

Medical Liability Insurance

The last time I visited my doctor I over heard him talking to his nurse about Medical Liability Insurance. He said that it was already too high and that it will go up again. It made me think about my own insurance and I was complaining to my husband yesterday that it too was going up again. At least me and my doctor have that one thing in common, we both watch our budgets closely.

Still shopping

How are you doing on your Christmas shopping?We still have some left to go and just waiting on the next payday to finish. I hate waiting to the last minute but I guess that's life. Well, I just wanted to wish everyone to have a Merry Christmas and have a great and happy holidays.

My friend is pregnant with her second child and she is looking for a new video baby monitor. Her husband accidentally trashed the last one. I asked her how? She just looked at me and said that don’t get her started. I said okay and left that one unsaid. So we have been sitting here and checking the web trying to find one like she had before.

3, 4, 5 inches of rain???

It has rained for the past three days and we are thankful for are blessing. We have been in a very long drought and this has helped us very much. I know my husband will be excited to get the lakes back full again. Our favorite lake, we can not even launch a boat. I know my husband misses his fishing. I kind of miss going to the lake too, but for my very own reason. It's ok if it will dry out for a couple of days, but we will invite the next round of rain to come on in.

I have been trying to learn and use the symbol barcode scanner. My neighbor has a business and he has been trying to train me to work part-time. I am trying to make some extra money for Christmas. As you already know, the holiday season has started. If you are like me then you know it will be Christmas before you now it.
