Almost the Weekend

It's almost Labor Day Weekend and I don't have any big plans yet. Charles is doing great in school. My husband and I are both looking for a part-time job. It just seems that we have too much month at the end of the money, at least that is what my husband said. I'm not sure what it means, it's another one of his cliches. I just know that groceries keep going higher and what we bring home keeps getting smaller. Gas prices are killing us.

barcode scanner

The first order of business tomorrow for my husband is to buy the business a new barcode scanner. While he was away on his business trip, the bar code scanner at work broke. He still has not found out how it got broken, but he will learn all that in the morning. He usually orders them online, but he said the employees are being suspicious by not telling him the whole story yet.

So Happy

My husband has come home from his business trip. Last week he traveled to Denver for training. The kids are so happy to see their dad too. I know my husband was happy to get home. His luggage came home on a later plan so he did not get that until Saturday morning. Now we are preparing to get ready for the coming work week. I am sure he is glad that the AC is still working good here at the house. For some reason last Tuesday the fan motor froze up. However, we turned it off and stayed with my mom-in-law. The next day I turn it back on and it has worked good since.

I'm sorry gift basket

I am sitting here looking online trying to find an I'm sorry gift basket. I hate to admit it but I forgot my husband’s birthday. I did not forget the date, I just didn’t realize that the day had already came. Is it me or is time flying but so quickly. It’s hard to believe that school starts three more days. Now I need to go buy school supplies.
