I am sitting here looking online for document scanning services because our home printer/scanner has stopped working. We have some documents that we need to print and send to the government and this happened at the most inopportune time. My husband said that is when equipment breaks is when you need it most. I thought we just found out that it broke now because normally we don’t use it very often.

Sleeping Late

We slept late this morning and missed church. We always wake up (or at least one of us does) without an alarm clock. We didn't get out of bed until 9:30 this morning. Anyway, I hope you have had a great weekend. Now I need to go grocery shopping. We don't have any groceries in the house.

I have been looking for my cousin some maternity clothes. I gave her mine that I used before, but she has gotten bigger than me than when I was pregnant. Money. Money, Money

We are blessed in that we have employment. Well, I'll go back to work when school starts. Anyway, we are blessed. I read about the people that have been out of work for a long time and my heart breaks for them. I don't know how they get through it. We have had to tighten our budget by cutting unnecessary things because inflation has blown our budget apart. The government tells us there is now inflation, but we have not had a salary increase in two years and insurance, gas and groceries cost a lot more today. I pray they economy will take off and everybody can get back to living instead of just existing.

It has been so hot this summer that my neighbor, we have been mostly staying indoors enjoying the air conditioner. The only time we play outside is when we swim in our neighbors pool. It’s a great way to get some exercise and beat the heat. So I have been online searching for some good swimming goggles because I swim mostly under water.

It's Hot!

We have more than 20 days this summer that he reached and exceeded more than 100 degrees. We also have not had any significant rain to break this drought which means it's dry. I mean the ground is dry but we still have 90 percent humidity. It's ridiculous! I hope this heat wave ends soon and the rain will come back. My husband misses his lake and fishing.

safe fat burners

Does any one know about any safe fat burners? My husband really is desperate to lose weight now. He is disgusted with himself and exercise is not doing it alone. It seems the more he exercises the more he eats. We were thinking that if we could supplement the exercise with a fat burner that it would speed up the progress a little, well maybe it would help jump start the progress. Good Morning

Good morning to all my online friends. My eldest son is computer crazy nowadays. He would spend the whole day playing on the computer if we would allow him too. Now it looks like my youngest son is going to follow him. My youngest son always wants to play with my ipod. Anyway, it's time to prepare for church. Let's see which kid will fight me to take a bath.

My husband is wishing that they would upgrade his office with new document scanning software. As a matter-of-fact, they have all new hardware but they are still using Microsoft Office 2003. He complains that they want them to operate at the speed of business, but all there software is ancient. They are also locked down so much by the IT department, it’s come to the point were they are not as efficient as they could be. However, It’s not his call to make so he just does the best that he can with the tools that he is given.

Short Work Week

It is really going to be a short work week for my husband. He had Monday off for the holiday. Now he has a doctors appointment with the VA Medical Center tomorrow. He will use a sick day from work. So I don't know if sitting at a hospital us really a day off, but he will not be at work. It's been hot and we have been busy. I found out today that I will be assigned to the same school that I worked at last year. I just hope they move me from contract to full-time. I could use the pay increase plus the benefits. Everyone pray for me!

Happy Birthday Mom

It's my mother-in-law's birthday this weekend. It's hard to believe that she is now seventy years old. Now we are wondering what would be a good gift to buy her. My husband suggested to buy her a new watch. So I am sitting her cruising the web and looking at Suunto watches. I think it would be great to buy her one that can keep up with her heart rate. She had a heart attack before and so now we watch her closely. Now I just need to get my husband over here and see what he thinks.
