Let it Snow

I should have posted these pictures earlier. I was running out of things to post about. As you can see, when we do get snow which isn't often, we love to enjoy it. Matt is getting his first taste below.



Charles is being pulled by a neighbor. We didn't know at this time that he was running fever which was why he almost didn't come outside. However, the next day he was not sick. whatever it was it lasted 24 hours.

Bolt

The kids are watching the Movie Bolt on TV. Well, Charles is watching and Matt stops and watches for a few minutes. We will be leaving soon to go to a birthday party. One of my friend's mother is having a birthday. We plan to celebrate at 6:00 P.M. Now Matt has made his way back to visit his dad. I need to pick up a card on the way. I believe my husband will stay home and rest. He is still feeling bad.

My husband is still sick and can not seem to shake it. It's been a week now, just when he thought it was over he went for round two.

tech jobs

My husband that he has noticed that the companies are hiring a little better in our area especially the oil field industry. He also said that tech jobs were picking up too. He is happy to see an upswing in the economy because the people need jobs. No0w if the other industries would pick up then we would be in full recovery mode.

Running Out of Time

It will soon be March and the boys will be having their birthdays. It's hard to believe that it's almost that time of the year already. It seems like Matt was born yesterday and Charles shouldn't be in school either. I guess the song is true that time marches on. My husband and I have been talking about a party, but we have not decided where yet. Now the time is running out and we need to get the ball rolling. I hope it's nit too late!

My husband says that there is two ways to make money. He said you can increase income or cut cost. So he has been online recently looking for and trying to get some cheap car insurance quotes. We have been lucky and blessed because we kept our employment during these bad times, but prices keep increasing bit our salaries are frozen. Sick Boys

All the males in this family suffer from allergies. Since the weather has turned Spring like, it has gotten worse. They all have there medicine and take it daily. It helps most of the time, but occasionally it6 takes a doctors visit if an infection sets in. I hope that they all feel better soon. It's rough when all three want mom's attention.

PC Games

My husband loves to play PC Games and he is eagerly waiting for a game that he has been patiently waiting for to be released on March 8th. I like to play PC games too, but they are much different than the ones my husband plays. He is into role playing games and I like the simple games myself. I just need to stay out of his way on game release day.

Always Working and My DVR

I do a lot of volunteer work almost every single day and so I don't normally have enough time to come home and watch my favorite movies and shows that play on my DirectStarTV. Unfortunately, a lot of my favorite shows also come on at times when I'm not even home. I guess that's what happens when you're never home or are rarely there to watch television. One of my favorite shows to watch is True Blood, which airs on HBO every Sunday night. I usually like to go to bed early on Sunday because I have to be up the next morning in order to go to work and be there on time.

Fortunately for me, I have a DVR and am able to record all of my favorite programming with just a quick push of a button on the remote. It's one of the most convenient things that I have in my house. I remember the old days when I had to actually stay up in order to watch my favorite television shows. Those days are long gone now that I can just record the shows and even movies while I am out for the entire day. For someone who is constantly on the run and is constantly working, a DVR is just one of those things that I can not do without.

Another Snow Day

Today we are expecting 2 to 4 inches of snow again. It will make it the third time this winter that we have received snow. My husband has said that it has been a long time since this area has seen this much snow. Hopefully we will get to play in it again. The boys really enjoyed playing in the snow last week. Charles was running fever that day for some reason, but he was still able to enjoy it some. I'm sure today he will enjoy it even more since he is feeling much better.

Merchandising Jobs

The economy seems to be trying to pick up around our area especially the oil and gas industry. My best friend has been looking for merchandising jobs, however, she hasn’t had any luck yet. I asked her has she been looking online at different websites and she said that she checks them everyday. I told her to just keep trying and to never give up because something will materialize as long as she keeps at it.
