To the Park
Sunday we all overslept and missed church. I hate it when I miss it. We did go to the park this afternoon to have a picnic. The boys enjoyed playing in the sand. Well, at least Charles did. Matt loves to walk and explore. I spent more time walking him around the running track. Dad spent the some time listening to football on the radio in the van. The Saints lost their first game in overtime. For a while there, he thought neither team wanted to win the game. I'm about to go to bed early tonight because I don't feel to good.

Tee Time
I was talking to my husband’s supervisor yesterday and asked him about his hobbies. He said that he was into golf. I asked him what he was doing on his computer and he said that he was checking different prices for tee times . My husband walked up at that moment and told me that his supervisor was an avid golfer and that anytime his supervisor has any free time, you can catch him on the golf course. He was researching different golf courses online that has 48 hour tee times . He loves to take his vacation time traveling around playing on different golf courses. He was checking out a website this time called www.48hourteetimes.com . If you love golf, you might want to check it out too.
Mud Bath
We had our family reunion get together at Cyprus Lake today. The lake is being drained so there wasn't as much water as it normally would have in the past. Al the docks were out of the water which means many people will have an opportunity to fix them. Anyway, my husband and Matt decided to walk near the water. Matt started running and fell head first into some mud. My husband went to get him and sank about a foot deep too. Both got very muddy. Matt because he fell in with his clothe and my husband got so muddy carrying Matt. Matt got so afraid but my husband washed him in a sink and we changed his clothes. However, we left early because my husband did not carry extra clothes. We enjoyed the whole time that we were there.

A Day at Moon Lake
This guest post from Edgardo Rosa
Friends called this morning inviting me to hike into Moon Lake to see if the trout were biting Since Moon Lake is about five miles into the Wilderness, I did not want to carry too much heavy gear along with a lunch and clean drinking water. I chose my little breakdown trout outfit that fits into a nice sleeve. It is lite and fits nicely into a small pack, making it just right for these conditions.
Before leaving I set my baltimore ADT cellguard Alarm System, and made sure all the windows were locked tightly. Then calling “My Lil Buddy” we headed out for a pleasant day of hiking and fishing with friends.
Art, Jim and Larry were impatiently waiting when we arrived at the trail head, so it was not long before we all headed up the trail with high hopes of catching the Big One. As we hiked we joked about getting ate by a cougar, but I assured them with my protective Fila along the possibility of that happening was very slight since they were bred to hunt Jaguar in Brazil several centuries ago.
We had a very enjoyable day with each of us catching a couple of nice trout, and no cougar sightings to liven up My Lil Buddy's sleepy afternoon lying beside me as I fished.

Happy Hump Day
We are supposed to have a family get together at the lake this weekend. The bad news is that a cold front with come through that day and bring some rain. So now we are just waiting for the weekend to get a little closer. It would be the first time that we would visit this lake. My husband said that it has a sandy beach and can swim. My eldest came home color orange in his behavior. We have tried to change his direction but it seems to be snowballing down hill.

Body Acne Treatments
I am just sitting here reading about body acne treatments. It would be bad enough to fight acne just on your face. I don’t know how I would handle it if I had acne all over my body too. I guess my vanity would get the best of me. So I was just reading about different products and the one that my sister uses is highly rated. I think that I need to get on the phone and tell her what a good product it is that she uses.
Colon Cleanser Reviews
My poor husband suffers from irritable bowl syndrome. I’m asking please no one tell him that I have posted that because he would not like it. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe a good colon cleanser might help him. So I have been reading online colon cleanser reviews trying to determine which one might be effect for him. If any of my buddies out there have had some success with a product, please post a comment.
Back Pain
My back has been hurting for the last two days. It started when I stepped out of our van Monday when we were trying the new Chinese Buffet. I like our other one better but this one was a good one too. Anyway, my husband said that it sounds like I have a pinched nerve in my back.I* don't care what it is all I want is for it to go away and hurt no more.
Remove Pimples
I’m tired of getting pimples. I get them occasionally but they irritate me so much. I am looking for a product that will remove pimples plus keep them from coming back or developing new ones. When I’m researching different products I normally use the internet. The net has so much information, I usually know if a product will live up to it’s expectations. I always advise my friends to do the same.
Good for her
I was at work and I really don't have time to check my phone. So when it's time to log out, I heard the news about my sister. She was texting and telling me that she was so happy. I just wonder what it was, so I replied back to her and asked why. What happen? It was that her work position was growing and she also increased her salary. Wow thanks goodness I'm so happy for her.

Dog Training
My mom has been having trouble with her new dog. She is trying to train him to be an inside dog, so he needs to potty train and learn not to chew the furniture. She has a new dog because Pepper has gone on to doggie heaven. Anyway, I told her to get on her computer and go to www.dogtraining.org. She can get training aids and products plus tips there. If you have a dog, you might want to check it pout too.
Headed to Church
We are up and moving slow this morning, well, the kids are the exception. Both parents are hurting and sleeping. We would both be happy to crawl back in bed, but we missed church last week and we don't want to miss it this week. I have just enough time to post this before we need to head out the door. Husband has a "crick" in his neck because he slept on the pillow at a bad angle. I just have a headache already. Anyway, I hope to be back online later today.

Acne Solutions
I have been sitting here at my desk studying different kinds of acne solutions. I am researching different products to see which ones might work for my neighbors girlfriend. She has tried many different products and has not found one that works well for her yet. I think the reason is that not all products are created equal. I have found a website that has done the research for me. It’s nice that somebody has done all the work for me already. Now I just need to get my neighbor in the house.

Back Home Now
My mom and sis are back home now from the Philippines. I would have loved to go but it just wasn't time. I'm hoping that next year we will have the opportunity to go. I really miss my lolo and lola. I want to see them plus I want the kids to see them too. WE will work hard and try to save the money to go next summer. I talked to my mom a little this morning, but when I come home from work I want to here everything about their trip.

Glass Mosaic Tile
I have been thinking of remodeling our bathroom lately. It’s dated and looks like a throw back to the seventies or something. I have been online and I have found the most beautiful glass mosaic tile. All I need to do is figure out which color scheme that I want the most. Maybe some of my online buddies cam help me decide by going to the link above. If you have an opinion, please post your ideas in the comment section.

Looking toward the weekend
It's been a rough week and we are ready for the weekend. I am hoping that I can go see a movie this weekend. I want to see the new Resident Evil movie. I'm sure mu husband will have some excuse like no money or he don't feel like it. It would be nice to get a baby sitter and go out just the two of us. I guess It's time to go and prepare the kids for bed. Maybe after that fight I can come back online later.

Mesothelioma
My husband was visiting the Veterans Medical Center the other day for a check up. The doctor asked him about a certain procedure and my husband said that it had been some time. My husband said that he wasn’t 50 years old yet and asked why the concern? The doctor just told him strange and weird things happen to vet’s so it’s good to check it early. The reason for this story is simple. Veterans were exposed to many different things from Agent Orange to Asbestos. Of coarse these agents are pretty bad stuff, I want to talk about Asbestos.
Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that can develop in the lungs. Asbestos is the main cause of Mesothelioma. They are making good strides in treating it, but it is still one of the toughest cancers around and has a low survival rate. One example where people got exposed was the shipyards of old. Ships built years ago had Asbestos. If you know someone that has been diagnosed with Mesothelioma Disease, my best advise is to seek a good Mesothelioma Attorney. I do not mean just any attorney, what you need is a specialist.
Our society has many specialist like doctors and lawyers that practice in a specialized field. Lawyers specialize in tax law to criminal law. So if you decide to to seek help, be sure to chose a Mesothelioma Lawyer.

Playing Outside
We have been letting the kids play outside because it has cooled off considerably. We woke up this morning and it was in the 60's. It is warming up fast, but it was refreshingly cool. Both the kids are enjoying playing outside right now. Even my husband is enjoying the outside as much as possible. He gets frustrated though because he is fighting allergies. I need to get back to cleaning house. I've turned today into a major project. I'm changing all the curtains.

New Scrubs
I’m sitting here this morning trying to get ready and motivated for work. As I look down at my uniform, I just realized that it is faded. So I got up and started looking at all my uniforms and they are all faded. Now I got to start looking for some nursing scrubs. No, I’m not a nurse, I work in Food Service and we wear scrubs. So to all my online friends, do any of you know where to buy cheap scrubs ? It’s mostly a rhetorical question because I have found a website already. Now I just need to find the colors and sizes a need. They even have scrubs for kids, I didn't know they made scrubs for kids.
Another Oil Rig Explosion????
It is reported that the Gulf Coast had another oil rig explosion. It is hard for me to believe that something strange is happening. One rig, o.k., maybe that's an accident. Two rigs? It seems to coincidental especially right after the BP mess. My husband leans toward sabotage. I mean that industry is already heavily regulated, but another accident right after so much focus and attention on the first one and safety. My husband says that something smells funny? Whatever that is supposed to mean.

Halloween Costumes
I guess it’s getting that time again. Fall is almost here and soon the holiday season will start by kicking off with Labor Day which is next week. The next holiday is one of the kids favorites because all the candy that they will receive. Yes, it will be Halloween before we know it. It’s time to be thinking about halloween costumes. I guess I need to get with the eldest and even the baby to see which costume they would like to wear this year.
The VA
My husband had a check up at the VA Medical Center yesterday. Everything is good. The doctor is not happy with his cholesterol because it's borderline putting him on medicine at his age. The good news is that he did not put him on medicine because it is trending down. We are eating more baked cooking than fried. He still eats what he likes but the choices are healthier. I'm happy with that news too. He is trying to get his medicine from the VA that an outside doctor has been prescribing him. Since it's for his service connection disability, it should be free from the VA.
DirecTV
We have finally decided to switch to Direct TV by DirectSatTV . We have been a faithful customer of another satellite provider for more than ten years. I remember that we were one of the first to get satellite when it first came to town. We bought all our equipment and paid more than 1,500 dollars back then. Now they provide you the equipment when you sign contracts for certain period of time.
The main reason we decided to change is the different Direct TV packages by DirectSatTV . We wanted to install an international Filipino package plus with the free upgrade to a DVR it was not long before we were sold on the idea. We even tried to get my mother-in-law to sign up for DIRECTV, so we could take advantage of receiving one hundred dollars. However, her landlord were she rents her apartment would not let her do it. We thought it was unfair, but we didn’t know then about the government dish rules . If we knew then that she could file a petition with the Federal Communications Commission, she would be enjoying satellite television and we would be getting one hundred dollars toward our bill. I still have to tell her that she can file a petition, maybe she will decide to move from cable to DirecTV when here contract is up.
I am happy that I have switched to DirecTV because the whole family loves it. We get some programs like Sprout for the kids and more sports channels for dad. So I would be happy to advise any one to save money now buy looking in some great deals and pricing. Maybe I need to see if they will let us upgrade to the Free HD DVR, now that we have a HD TV.

Another Day and Another Dollar
We have made it past hump day and on the downhill slide into a three day weekend. Charles came home from school exhausted. He has been fighting sleep to stay awake until I go to bed. He goes to bed on time, but he fights sleep and it has finally caught up with him. He has sleep for an hour already. Normally when he acts like this he has fever, but it's no fever, just pure exhaustion.
