I Passed My Drivers Test

Today we went to the DMV so I can take the driving portion of the test. I passed with flying colors which means I can drive alone now. I had a permit before and needed another licensed driver in the automobile, but now I have my complete freedom. My husband is happy because he doesn't always have to drive now. I'm so happy now! Thank you God for answering my prayer!

We should have known better, but like many other people we did not back up our computer. Yes, you can guess it, our computer crashed. We had to buy a new one and all our files our lost. DMV

Well, tomorrow I will travel to the DMV and see if I can take and pass the drivers portion of my test. Everyone send up a quick prayer for me that I pass my test. I drove all the way home from the lake last Saturday and I have been practicing more since that baby has been born.

Florida Vacations

We did not take a vacation this year. The main reason is that my husband has had to use most of his vacation time doing things for the family. One example is he has to do all the driving because I still only have a permit. So when someone in the family has to go to the doctor or has an appointment, he has to take off from work. However, I’m driving more and hope to take my test soon. Anyway, I hope next year to look into taking some Florida vacations. My son wants Disney World and I just want to see an ocean again. I really miss the sea and we can accomplish all of that in Florida.

Have you applied for disability compensation and have been denied. It’s very hard to get disability even if you need it sometimes. My husband is a disabled veteran and he had to fight for his. The VA is not the only place that does disability. The social security office also helps people with disabilities too. Our neighbor has applied for here son, but was disappointed when he was turned down. He has multiple sclerosis and they have filed a disability appeal. I hope they win it soon.

His new buddy

We went again to the lake yesterday and my eldest son he was so happy especially now he knows that my husband's friend will go too. He kept saying that your my buddy. When we are driving to his buddies place, my son is fast to remember the location. It surprised us because we have only gone there one time before. When my son remembered he said “that’s my buddy place this way”. Charles really loves many people and he is not shy or scared.
I have some picture I that I attached and Charles asked his buddy to take a picture too but he is shy or he don’t like it. You can see Charles his face that his happy and feel to take the picture.

Can't Control Your Self!!!!

My husband and eldest son came home from work and school. I was surprised when he carried in a two and half gallon of ice cream. I did not know that his Auntie had planned to give it to us…Wow I’m so happy now I can eat ice cream again. Ohhhhh how can I lose my weight now with all of this hehehe. She's Lucky

I was amazed when my mother-in-law showed me the 2 1/2 gallon of ice cream, because most of the ice cream that I see here is not very big!!! I think....she's lucky because she got it free; a big brand ice cream. She let me taste it first to see if I'd like the flavor and I thought it was delicious. Also my husband told me his Auntie got one too. Ohhhhh I feel too, that we would love to have that and I'm sure my two boys love it!!!

Home Gyms

I’ve been hounding my husband that if he is going to diet that he needs to exercise too. His answer is that quick life style changes usually fail and let him change slowly so as to make his new changes become new habits. Maybe that’s OK with him, but I want to look at home gyms for myself. He can join me exercising when he gets ready.

We're so Glad

We do not go often to the lake on the weekend anymore, it's because my husband lost his fishing buddy....Last Saturday my husband and his other friend were talking about it. They planned to go visit the lake last weekend but we did not because of the heavy rain. So today we went to visit but we did not stay there long. My husband's friend liked our place in the lake and they talking that when he can finish his chores at his house we can go back again. Hayyy(a big sigh)So now finally my husband can start back fishing and have a new fishing buddy, me too. We are both happy, especially when my husband friend had say something nice to him. So guys you want to know what is it???hhhhmmmmnnn let me think about it.....lol

Everyone is Well

We carried my oldest to the emergency room on Labor Day weekend. He woke up running a 104 degree fever. We gave him Tylenol, but it drooped it too a 103 degrees. So my husband carried him thinking it could be the flu. The emergency room doctor said he had a viral infection and all we could give him was Tylenol and Motrin. My husband was not pleased with the hospital because we fought high fever for four days. When he visited his pedia, we were told he had strep throat. After a good shot of antiboitic, he has been fine ever since.

Tired of the Rain

We needed the rain, but we are tired of it now. It has rained almost everyday now. We would like to dry out sometime soon. We really want to go visit the lake, but it's useless to go in the rain. We can't do any work there. We could get out of the house though! Maybe I will suggest that, but we have appointment to take Matt's picture. I'm sure that we can go next time.

Rugs

My husband and I have been looking at different rugs lately. We are trying to make little changes at the house because it looks a little dated. However, we have a little disagreement. I want a Persian style and my husband wants Rustic & Lodge style. We seem to be at an impasse, but I think I have found a solution. We can buy both. I can put a Persian style in our home and he can put the Rustic & Lodge style at the camp. I think that’s a perfect solution. What do you think?

Biometrics

Friday we will have to travel to Jackson, Mississippi for my biometrics appointment. It's a long drive for us, but it's the nearest Immigration Office to take finger prints. Not really looking forward to it, but alas it's necessary. The biggest dread is that we will have to do it over again in about a month for my son. So we will let Charles go to school and let his granny baby sit him until we arrive back home. We don't want to let him miss two days of school going to Jackson. We thought about carrying him and see if they would go ahead and process his picture and finger prints without an appointment because we can prove that we have already paid and show the letter were they accepted his application. However, we doubt they would do it without an appointment letter.
