baby dismemberment case

Today I was shocked and felt really hurt about this news. They have a 3 ½ week old baby boy that was dismembered by his mother. When I saw the picture of the baby and read the story, it felt like a dagger pierced my heart because I'm a mother too. The innocent newborn really didn’t know what happen him or his mom, poor little angel. I only can hope that can pray for the babies family. I know Jesus is holding the baby in his arms right now.

Discover boxes

My husbands’ co-worker has accepted a different position with the company. It means she will be relocated to another part of the state. She is looking to sell her house and locate some boxes to move. I told her why she still has plenty of time that all she has to do is go online to Discover boxes and order her boxes. Now all I have to do is go check out her moving sale.

Going to School

Today we received the letter that accepted Charles into Pre-K. He has to go to a different district because they don't offer Pre-K in our district yet. The state is trying to put Pre-K programs in every elementary school, but it hasn't done it yet. Now we have a mandatory meeting for the parents on the 14th of August. He starts August 24th plus we will have him tested on August 4th. Pray that he does well on his test.

patio furniture

As I spoke in my last posting, we went to the lake to check out the camp. The grass was so high and my husband ruined our Weed Eater, but we got an idea of what we need to do to fix the place up. The first thing we need to do is replace our patio furniture. We like to sit outside and grill when we are enjoying the lake view. New patio furniture would go a long way to improving our fishing camp.

Going to The Lake

Tomorrow we are going to the lake. We have not been there in quite some time. I'm sure the grass well be very high and that we have many things to clean. Hopefully, we can start going there more often so we can keep the camp in good condition. I'm excited to just get out of the house. My husband is sad because I'm sure he really misses fishing and we will be so close to the water. Since we bought the mini-van, we don't have a way to put the boat in the water. Anyway, wish us luck in that we don't find many problems.

Outer Banks rentals

We are looking to save money on vacation this year. My mom is really wanting to see baby Matt plus her other grandson too. So we have been looking for a place about half way between our homes. I think we found the perfect place too. We our looking at different Outer Banks rentals. I know my mom and I would love it because we miss the ocean. In the Philippines we lived near the ocean and loved to swim in the salt water. My husband just loves the water and fishing. So now all I have to do is contact my mom and see if we can split the cost and agree on a date.

Matt's First Baby Sitting Experience

Our first baby sitting experience didn't go to well today with Matt. We went to my husband's church because he really missed his church because lately we have been going to my church. We put Matt in daycare, but halfway through the service we saw his tracking number flash on the screen. We never saw him cry like this before. He was having one huge temper tantrum and he only wanted his mom or dad. Matt is usually very loving and caring. So we missed the last half of the service and just left early to go to granny's house.

Trip to the Zoo

My eldest son was really happy when he knows that we are plan to go to the zoo. And I told him the night before that I can’t read him a story because I’m so busy making food to carry with us. I’m glad he understand and I told him not to fight me. I told him if he did that we would not go. We planned to go early so we will not got so hot but we did not make it because we both wake up late. I especially slept late because of all the preparation of last night. We arrived at the zoo around noon time and it was already hot. My little one starting crying because he hates the heat. Plasma TV Mount

We finally broke down and bought a HD Television. I have only one problem with our new TV. It fits perfect where the on the old TV stand, but I really want to rearrange the room. So my husband advised me to go online and look a plasma tv mount that will fit our TV. So I think I have found one that will work for us. Now all I need to do is figure out which wall to hang it on.

My Own food

Thursday night I prepared this kind of food to carry our trip at the zoo. When we had a party before, my friend came to our house and she carried here some palabok. I was so happy because when I tried it again, I remembered eating that before when I‘m still in the Philippines. So when we planned on going to the zoo, this is what I thought about. I also made poto cheese to carry too. My first palabok was really good and I’m lucky to find a recipe at a TFC show, so I hurried to record it so I can have the recipe.
