Sad Day in the Family

My sister lost her husband last night and my husband lost his best friend and fishing buddy. My son lost his Uncle Joe and I lost my only brother-in-law. It has been very hard on my sister and we have her staying here with us so she will not be alone during these hard times. No one can sleep last night except my son because he really doesn't understand. We will have his funeral Thursday morning, so every one please pray for my sister and the family.

Almost Friday

My poor husband is happy that tomorrow is Friday. He has been busy here lately. He has just finished our taxes today. Two weeks ago, we had to replace our hot water heater. Tax Time

Tax time comes once a year and we have learned to leave my husband alone on the day he files our taxes. He has just finished e-filing the Federal Return, but he is still looking at the State Form. We finally received our last paper work in the mail yesterday. We were waiting patiently, but happy that it is now almost finished.

First Valentines gift for my son from his dad

Happy Valentines Everyone!!!! I'm sure everyone are busy getting ready for going out and receiving many surprises. Anyway, yesterday my sister and I where talking on the phone. She asked me what we were planning on this Valentines day. I told her we don't have any plans or going out because last Thursday we spent our money buying a new hot heater. The old one started leaking and it's broke. My hubby was teasing me that he already bought me my present lol. I told him that it don't matter to me because all I want is to have a happy healthy family.

However, today I'm so really surprised when my husband came home and handed me a card. It said Happy Valentines and he also bought me chocolates and beautiful flowers. Not only did he give me a gift, he also gave our little boy his first valentines gift from his Dad. My son was so happy and excited to open it and I'm sure he will eat all his chocolates today. Just look at his face and see how happy he is hahahaha. I did not expect all this...... so to my hubby I'm saying a very big thank you so much of this and I love You so much.

Baby Shower Part 2

Today all the co-workers at my husbands work gave me a baby shower. We were going to invite them to my first shower, but that's when they told my husband that they had already planned another party. It was very nice and they gave us many nice things for the baby. I was so happy that ladies remembered Charles too. They gave him three gifts so he would not feel the baby the only one receiving gifts. I was so proud of them and Charles made a new friend and he followed her everywhere in the building. It was so cute. I want to thank them all plus God for Blessing us with many things for the baby. Here are a couple of pics:
