Nuclear Option #2
We are finally back up and running online again. My husband has restored our computer back to factory specs one more time. He had almost finished uploading and installing all our favorite programs. He upgraded a favorite program that we use form PC Pitstop. Before we were using their 1.5 PC Optimize program to make our PC more efficient and faster. We loved the program because it worked wonders. It even worked good on our new PC with Vista. However, after he upgraded to Optimize 2 and ran it on our pc it did the complete opposite. It almost froze our pc. It would take forever to open any program or internet explorer. I mean you would click the mouse and have to walk away from the computer and come back 5 minutes later. It got that slow. So he recovered back to factory specs again which is the second time this week. He is beginning to believe that Windows Vista doesn't like to be changed or Microsoft made it so idiot proof it locks out everybody. It could be the manufacturer's configuration too, but my husband is thinking about buying a Macintosh at this point.
